Bought my first dotBIZ domain yesterday and quickly built a small
site, PinkDiamonds.biz.
I've had the domain on my potential buy list for about a week and
finally decided to buy after reading about how PinkDiamond.com sold
for $18,000 at auction and then that the new owner, Rick Schwartz,
turned down $38,000 just an hour later.
It always puzzles me, if somebody desperately wants a .com and is
willing to pay thousands, why they don't secure the similar domains
that are available to register. Part of the reason why I also
decided to buy PinkDiamonds.biz is that all other
major plural and singular extensions were taken but not doing
much:
PinkDiamonds.com: Redirects to FancyDiamonds.com
PinkDiamonds.net: PARKED
PinkDiamonds.org: PARKED PinkDiamonds.biz:
